Max and Emme are really going to love this.
Their mommy Jennifer Lopez is about to get animated! Lopez is joining Wanda Sykes, Drake, Queen Latifah and John Leguizamo in 20th Century Fox’s Ice Age 4: Continental Drift. She'll be lending her voice to the character Shira, a sabre toothed tiger who melts the heart of Diego (Dennis Leary), who is also a sabre toothed tiger. The first three Ice Age movies grossed nearly $2 billion at the worldwide box-office. The new movie will hit theaters on July 13, 2012.
Remember when we told you last week that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were rumored to be developing a singing competition in Latin America? Well now we have new details about the project! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lopez and Anthony, with the help of American Idol creator Simon Fuller (who will serve as the show's Executive Producer) will embark on "an epic three month long journey to create the ultimate live show celebrating Latin music, artistry and dance." They will travel to remote areas of the Americas and filming will be done in three languages. The show will be broadcast across 21 countries in North America, Central America and South America.
Lopez explains: “This is a show for the 21st century with an unprecedented global and local story. The Latin culture is a tapestry that is rich in passion, tradition and artistry. We are going to places where all of this talent lives and wouldn’t have otherwise been discovered. This journey for me and Marc is going be exciting and groundbreaking.” Meanwhile, Fuller says Q’Viva "truly celebrates the beauty and splendor of Latin music and dance."
