Jennifer Lopez has her priorities straight. Though rumors have been circulating of a possible romance blossoming between the 42-year-old Boricua superstar and hottie Bradley Cooper, (The Hangover), J.Lo’s heart remains dedicated to her twins Max and Emme.
When Lopez was asked about her current relationship status by Entertainment Tonight, the singer/actress didn’t miss a beat. “As a mom, and having children, right now they’re my first priority,” she said. “And because of them, I wouldn’t ever comment on anything until I’m in a serious relationship again.” Lopez added that it would be confusing for her kids, whom she shares with estranged husband Marc Anthony. “So at the end of the day, it’s about them,” she said. In a joint statement issued this past July, Lopez and Anthony announced that they were divorcing after seven years of marriage.
Interest about J.Lo's dating habits has intensified since she was spotted this past weekend with Cooper. Cooper was photographed in a car alongside a woman who looked awfully similar to the Boricua, but the "mystery" woman managed to cover most of her face with her hands. About a month ago, reports surfaced of a romantic dinner date shared by the pair in NYC, but Lopez's reps immediately declared the outing to be "business related."
On Telemundo’s Levántate, Lopez summed up her current emotional state to host Rashel Díaz. “They were very difficult times, but I’m very happy now,” she said. “My kids are doing really good and so am I.”
