After a seemingly endless nine months, Jessica Alba has finally given birth to her first child, a baby girl named Honor Marie Warren. Jessica and her husband Cash Warren welcomed their baby girl on Sunday at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Usmagazine.com reports.
Jessica's father Mark Alba, who rushed to the maternity ward with food for the new parents, was overheard saying "she's beautiful." We can't be sure if he was talking about Jessica or little Honor!
The birth of her daughter marks another big event in Jessica's life in the past year—she went from being one of Hollywood's hottest and highest paid actresses to wife, mother, and self-proclaimed nester. "It's a lot of stress to buy a house, have a baby and get married in six months," she recently told USA Weekend. "It's a lot of life-changing decisions. I'm really, really secure and happy in my relationship."
During her pregnancy, Jessica spoke freely about the type of mother she would be and told us that she wanted her baby to be brown, sparking all sorts of controversy and comments on our message boards. But don't hold your breath for more explosive statements or pictures of little Honor on the covers of any magazines—Jessica claims, "I haven't really gotten any [cover offers]—not that I'm aware of. You have to understand, everything that is written is kind of bulls**t."
