We all know Jennifer Lopez hails from the Bronx, but now, the Puerto Rican superstar has a new address in a much more luxurious neighborhood. The 42-year-old singer/actress recently bought a 2-acre property in the Hamptons, New York. In case you’ve been living under a rock, the Hamptons is one of the most elite neighborhoods in the country.
J.Lo’s new home is located in the exclusive Water Mill area of the Hamptons and boasts seven rooms and nine and a half baths. Extras include multiple walk-in closets, imported limestone in the foyer, heated marble floors in the master bath, and seven fireplaces.
The home was built last year and was last listed at $17,999,999. But Jenny can definitely afford it; the superstar was reportedly paid $20 million to judge a second season of Fox hit show American Idol! And who could forget the $1 million she was paid to perform one set at a wedding for a wealthy Ukrainian politician. We’d say Lopez can definitely afford this latest indulgence. The home in Long Island also allows her to stay close to estranged husband Marc Anthony, who owns his own palatial digs in Long Island. The couple called it quits in July after seven years of marriage.
