Jennifer Lopez Was “Freaking Out” When Son Max Needed Stitches

Jennifer Lopez probably knew the day would come when this kind of thing would happen. The Boricua superstar recently shared details about her son Max needing stitches with People.

“I hear that all little boys have a scar on their chin,” the 43-year-old mom of 5-year-old twins told the magazine of the recent incident. “Of course, I was freaking out, but he was fine. He said it tickled.”

They do say boys will be boys.

Little Max (who Lopez affectionately calls “The Boss”) was recovering at his father Marc Anthony’s house while his mom took a small break with her honey Casper Smart.

“It's a little night off from being a mom and that's exciting,” she said. “It's nice to have a little down time.” Lopez and Smart recently attended the grand opening of mega club Hakkasan inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Lopez has often spoken about her beloved “coconuts” (her nicknames for Max and Emme). Last year, she raved about her twins, who were born on February 22, 2008.

“They are so little and beautiful. It’s like juggling, just like any other single mom,” Lopez said of balancing her kids and work. “You have to balance everything and make sure that they are fine.”

She added that her children are happy. “My children are the most important part of my life,” the superstar gushed.
