We’re starting to think that everything Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony touches turns to gold! It’s not physically possible, but there’s no denying the star power the former couple commands and Kohl’s must've known just that before they signed them on as new designers. The department store experienced a key revenue increase of 4.1 percent increase thanks to its fashion lines featuring the estranged Puerto Rican couple.
During the past month or so, the total revenue of the company was a reported $1.63 billion. Though the former couple announced this summer that they were divorcing, both their Kohl’s lines would continue on. They've handled their development and marketing campaigns separately, which was apparent when we saw the cute series of ads Kohl’s released (see below).
Earlier this year, Anthony spoke to Latina exclusively about his line. “It’s two separate deals; it’s two separate things. I have my line for Kohl’s and she [Jennifer Lopez] has her line for Kohl’s,” the 43-year-old salsero said, “And there’s an obvious connection and so in some of the campaigns, we’ll do stuff together. But she has nothing to do with my line and I have nothing to do with her line.”
