Rumors have been flying regarding the two stars possibly rekindling their relationship. The "Vivir Mi Vida" singer has even reportedly been "trying to get back with her," with sources claiming he's still in love with Lopez. E! News, however, has confirmed that Ms. Lopez is "uninterested" in jumping back in with her ex, unless it has something to do with an on-stage music collboration.
"She is not looking to get back with him," an insider revealed.
In October, the former couple joined forces for J.Lo's upcoming Spanish-language album. “I am so excited and really looking forward to this new musical journey and to celebrate my Latin roots with Marc Anthony and the Sony/Magnus family." Even more recently, the two shared an almost accidental intimate moment, when Lopez planted a kiss on Anthony after awarding him the Person of the Year award. Anthony tried making light of the situation by posting photos on Instagram of himself kissing almost all of his family and friends.
Shortly thereafter, Anthony and his wife of two years, Shannon de Lima announced their split, causing many to believe that the kiss between Anthony and Lopez had something to do with the breakup. Despite the controversial moment shared between the former lovers, sources said that Anthony's split was related to his career and schedule. “Marc is so busy with his career, touring and recording that he distances himself from his relationships without even knowing it," the source explained. "Even with his wife in tow, she can feel like he is on another planet.”
Even Lopez's best friend Leah Remini is coming to the couple's defense. The actress appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, where she quickly denied the kiss as anything more than just "friendly". She continued, "That is not the reason. Marc's separation had happened already — clearly — way before that."
Regardless of the couple's future, one thing is for sure: Their twins, Emme and Max will always be in good co-parenting hands.
