Jennifer Lopez Drops Out of Chilean Miners Film 'The 33'

Jennifer Lopez will no longer be making a a big-screen appearance alongside Antonio Banderas.

According to Fox News Latino, the American Idol judge has decided to drop out of the movie, The 33, a film about the dramatic survival of miners trapped underground for over two months in a mine in northern Chile.

Due to her American Idol gig and hectic schedule, Lopez was unable to fully commit to the project.

While she is no longer involved with The 33 film project, the 44-year-old will still be starring in Jason Blum's, The Boy Next Door.
