In case you didn't know that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are the happiest, most in-love celebrity couple on the planet, they proved it once again this past weekend by renewing their vows in a Las Vegas hotel suite. Take that, Brangelina.
After a lucky night at the craps table with New York Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran and his wife Jessica, the two couples retired to the Caesar's Palace newly renovated Forum Tower Penthouse, where they each renewed their vows of marriage in front of a dozen guests and Carlos doled out specially engraved rings to his wife, and to Marc and Jennifer.
Wearing a black dress, Jennifer looked "beautiful," a source told People. "Her parents didn't even see it because they were with the babies."
After the ceremony, a butler popped Dom Perignon champagne for the remarried couples and their guests, and the party continued in the luxury suite. "Marc actually said the suite was so beautiful that it deserved it's own zip code," the source reveals. "He thought it was perfect."
We have to say that, considering their reputation for living large, we're suprised by how low-key Jennifer and Marc have been about their weddings. Their first nuptials, in 2004, were thrown together in three weeks and included only 35 guests. Guess when your love is for real, you don't need all the bells and whistles to validate it. Congratulations to the happy couple!
