1. Jay-Z signs on to co-produce the movie adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tony Award winning musical, "In The Heights." The news was announced by respected film producer Harvey Weinstein during his Oscars pre-party on Sunday.

"I'm excited to tell stories from real-life prophets, whom through their struggles have changed the world for the better, and others whose stories are filled with fantasy and delight," said Jay-Z.  


2. Cardi B signed multi-million dollar record deal with Atlantic Records and quits Love and Hip Hop: New York. Sources have confirmed that she has no interest in returning to the show.  "She wants to focus on music and be taken serious," sources said.
