In 2011, Pitbull wished Latina Magazine a very happy 15th anniversary. In return, we’re wishing the Cuban American Miami-bred rapper a very happy 30th birthday!
His musical collaborations with artists like Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias to Marc Anthony and Chris Brown have helped make this a huge year for Pitbull. He topped the Billboard charts with his number one hit “Give Me Everything” when he released his party anthem album Planet Pit. He’s made himself a household name. Mr. Worldwide really is everywhere.
Pitbull is being recognized for all the right things and that includes his business partnerships with Voli Vodka, Dr. Pepper, and Kodak. This year he was also featured on the covers of Billboard Magazine and of course, Latina Magazine. Again, he’s everywhere.
Although he’s become a mainstay in top 40 charting songs, he’s not taking it all for himself. He’s helping develop protégés Nayer and Sensato while his own star continues to rise to the top.
He doesn’t seem afraid of the big 3-0. In fact, Pitbull said in an interview with us for his June-July Latina cover shoot, “You know, 20 is the new 30 and 40 is the new 30. So that means I’m gonna be off the chain for a long time.”
We could not agree more. ¡Feliz cumpleaños Pitbull! ¡Dale!
