The 2014 nominations for the Golden Globe Awards have been announced, and Oscar Isaac, the star of Inside Llewyn Davis, and Alfonso Cuaron, the director of Gravity, and Sofia Vergara have all received nods.

Gravity, the must-see movie of 2013, picked up a nomination for “Best Motion Picture, Drama.” Cuaron was nominated for “Best Director”, and star Sandra Bullock was nominated for “Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama”

Additionally, Guatemalan actor Isaac was nominated for “Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy” for his role in the Coen Brothers' film Inside Llewyn Davis.

Sofia Vergara was nominated for "Best Supporting Actress In A Series, Mini-Series, or TV Movie" for her role as Gloria on Modern Family. Although this is her fifth nomination, she has never won the award.

The “Best TV Series, Comedy” category showed special favoritism to Latinos. Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which stars Stephanie Beatriz and Melissa Fumero, was nominated. Additionally Modern Family and Parks and Recreation, which stars Aubrey Plaza, were both nominated.

Congrats to all the nominees! See the full list at The LA Times. Catch the Golden Globes on January 12, 2014.
