Demi Lovato:

After surviving one of the roughest years in her young life, Demi Lovato emerged from a Chicago-area rehab with a clear mind and some new tats. Emblazoned across each wrist are the words “STAY STRONG” as a reminder to the 19-year-old singer that she can survive anything life can throw at her. She also has a cross on her inner arm and a tatoo that reads "You Make Me Beautiful" on her rib cage. "The words were so encouraging and lifted me through a really dark time in my life," says Lovato of the tattoo, which is a phrase from the song “Beautiful” by Bethany Dillon. "It’s kind of a Christian tattoo, so for me it’s religious, but it could be for anybody." She recently added the word "Faith" to her lower arm.
