EXCLUSIVE: Don Omar’s Thanksgiving Wish: “I Want To Be With My Kids”

With Thanksgiving just a few days away, we asked Puerto Rican singer Don Omar what he’s thankful for this year. “I want to be with my kids,” the reggaetonero replied sincerely. “My real, real deseo is to be with my kids.”

Omar says he is scheduled to perform in Orlando on Thanksgiving day, but adds that he has half the day free and would love nothing more than to have his kids with him for the holiday. Still, he says that may not be possible, because his ex-girlfriend and baby mama Melissa del Valle Rodriguez, may already have plans with their kids.

"Maybe I'll have some problems with {his ex} because maybe my daughter and her have plans already," says Omar. "And maybe I'm going to screw their plans," he adds with a laugh.

With the utmost sincerity, the 33-year-old singer added, “If I can be with my kids on Thanksgiving—it would be great!”
