A few weeks ago, rumors surfaced online that Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber would be collaborating on a “super duet” in the near future. While Justin recently told Hollywoodlife.com that "those are rumors," Demi has been quiet on the subject—until now.
On Friday, the half-Mexican singer cleared up the story exclusively to Latina.com. “I don't know where the Justin Beiber rumor got started,” said the 18-year-old star. “But that one is not true.”
Still, Demi says she wouldn’t mind doing a duet with Justin’s girlfriend (and her longtime friend), Selena Gomez. “As for doing a song with Selena,” Demi said, “I would love to do one in the future!”
The former Disney star, whose hit single "Skyscraper" shot to #1 on Itunes last month, tells Latina she has more great music in store for her fans next month. “In case you guys didn’t know, I just finished up my new album and it will be released on September 20th," Demi said. “I got to collaborate with a bunch of amazing people and can't wait for you to hear it!”
