Ryan Lochte wasn’t the only Latino supporting Diana Nyad’s charity swim to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The Today Show’s Natalie Morales, Univision's Alma Jimenez of the Luis Jimenez Radio Show and Adrienne Bailon all took a dip in the pool!
Native New Yorker and Latina star Adrienne Bailon kept endurance swimmer Diana Nyad company by swimming laps in NYC. Bailon spoke exclusively with us and shared her prep for the swim and how she picked her swimsuit for the event.
“I learned about the event the night before and as a New Yorker from the Lower East Side, I am always happy to support this city," the star stated while also taking a few minutes to pose for pictures before taking a dip.
With no time to train or prepare she was happy to dive in anyway. Since Bailon is known for her outrageous bikinis, we couldn't wait to hear what she was going to rock on the swim.
“Well I don’t actually own anything appropriate to swim laps in, so we ended up going to pick up a black one-piece swimsuit from American Apparel," she said.
