Is Eva Mendes Up For a Role in Oscar-Nominee David O. Russell's New Film?

It’s still unclear who will be playing the sultry woman in Oscar-nominated director David O. Russell’s new film Uncharted, based on the hit PS3 video game. Russell told MTV News, “I don’t know if they’ll let me make an R-rated video-game movie. It’ll have to be PG-13. But there’s gonna be romance and sex, otherwise I’m not interested, I promise. I’ll show as much skin and as much language.”

When MTV News asked Mark Wahlberg (cast as the film’s hero, Nathan Drake) who his leading ladies should be, he mused "Maybe Eva Mendes? Scarlett Johansson?" We have our bets on the sexy and sassy Eva Mendes, who has been responsible for her fair share of steamy scenes. Academy Award winners Robert De Niro and Jose Pecsi are also rumored to be in talks to star in the film. “That’s who he [O.Russell] wants to write the parts for," said Wahlberg. "I talked to Pesci about it and I know David’s people have talked to Robert De Niro.”

Call Eva already, Mark! With a cast like that, we're sure she won't turn you down. Guess we’ll just have to wait and find out...
