Tomorrow wraps up the end of this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month, and what better way to close it then with a personal story from one of our October cover girls? Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria spoke to AOL Latino for its Soy Latino Cuando (I’m Latino When) series – which features Latino celebrities sharing stories of when their Latino identity struck them the most.
In the video, the Mexican American actress recalls getting on the school bus in the morning with a tortilla at hand – unlike other kids. “Everybody else had like a biscuit or toast – or a Pop-Tart,” the 36-year-old actress said. “I was like, ‘where’s everybody’s tortilla?’” Leave it to Longoria to make us laugh with such a tender story.
In addition to Longoria, other celebrities such as Extra host Mario Lopez and bachatero Prince Royce shared their own stories.
