Eva Longoria is a free woman! Her divorce from San Antonio Spurs basketball star Tony Parker was finalized on Friday in a Texas courthouse. A friend of Longoria's confirmed to In Touch Weekly, “The divorce documents will come through today [Friday], she is happy and moving forward with her life.”
Longoria's lawyer filed all the necessary paperwork to cancel her original filing in Los Angeles, CA after the former couple agreed that Texas was the proper place for the divorce since that was where they signed their pre-nuptial agreement.
Longoria and Parker were together for seven years (married for three) when news broke of their split. At the time Longoria announced via Twitter: "It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other's happiness."
Eva filed for divorce after finding "hundreds" of lewd text messages between Tony Parker and his ex-teammates wife Erin Barry. But, this former housewife is anything but desperate—she's recently been spotted around town with Penelope Cruz's much younger (and dare we say, way hotter) brother, Eduardo Cruz.
