Eva Longoria Shares Life Lessons from Her Divorce

Eva Longoria, one of the cover girls on Latina’s 15 Anniversary cover, shared lessons learned from her divorce on a recent appearance on Ellen. The Desperate Housewives star told host Ellen DeGeneres that as a woman, she realized she couldn’t identify herself through a man or through a marriage. After three years of marriage, the 36-year-old Mexican American actress filed for divorce from NBA star Tony Parker last year amid a sexting scandal.
“You can be yourself and really hold your own by yourself – no matter what partnership you’re in,” Eva pronounced. Well spoken, mija!
