In what appears to be a string of LGBT hate crimes recently, it seems the latest victim is one of Eva Longoria's restaurant employees, Victor Diego.

Victor, who is both gay and transgender, works at Eva's Hollywood restaurant Beso. On Thursday evening as the 22-year-old was leaving his job, a group of men approached from behind and attacked Victor.

According to Fox News Latino, the Beso employee was sent to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles with two fractured ribs, a shattered cheekbone, a broken jaw and damage to his temple. "He was basically left for dead just because of who he is," Victor's sister, Virginia Diego, said. "Sometimes men try to talk to him and they get humiliated in front of their friends when they realize it’s a man,” she continued. “Because he looks really good, he looks like a woman, you couldn’t tell the difference.”

Police are currently investigating this incident as a possible hate crime.
