Are you excited for the 2013 ALMA Awards? After seeing the list of presenters and honorees, we definitely are!

Real-life best friends Eva Longoria and Mario Lopez will be hosting the awards show on September 27.

The barrier-breaking show, which will air on MSNBC and mun2, honors Latino entertainers who have made a positive impact upon their heritage and their field.

This year, Jessica Alba, Alexa Vega, Gina Rodriguez, Rico Rodriguez, and the cast of Devious Maids are slated to present awards. Three Latinos will also receive special tributes. Director Robert Rodriguez is receiving the Anthony Quinn Award for Industrial Excellence, honoring his dedication to incorporating Latino actors, stories, and themes into his works.

Guitarist Carlos Santana, who is also receiving a Kennedy Center Honor later this year, and Sin City actress Rosario Dawson are both receiving the “Outstanding Commitment to Cause and Community Award” for their advocacy and volunteer work on behalf of the Latino community.

You can follow the star-studded event, which is part of National Hispanic Heritage Month, through their Instagram or on Twitter.

We can’t wait for the show!
