Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has learned many lessons in love.
The 36-year-old Mexican American actress graces the cover of December’s Spanish Vanity Fair and, besides looking gorgeous in the magazine’s winter-inspired photo spread, Longoria spoke a little about her failed marriage and current love life.
“Love did not work with that person. But it can work with another,” Longoria told the magazine. “The only thing I will say is I was very lucky to find Edu.” By Edu, Longoria is of course referring to her boyfriend Eduardo Cruz (and Penélope Cruz’s little brother). And who was Longoria referring to when she said love did not work “with that person”? We are putting our money on NBA star Tony Parker, Longoria’s ex-husband. After three years of marriage, Longoria filed for divorce from the athlete last year.
Everything happens for a reason. “There's a reason I fell in love and got married,” Longoria said in her interview with Spanish Vanity Fair. “I believed in it.”
According to Longoria, she should supposedly be angry, resentful and disillusioned about relationships. “But I'm not,” the actress confessed.
