Days after officially announcing their split, Karina Smirnoff's ex Mario Lopez doesn't seem to be wasting any time getting back on the prowl for a new woman. The Broadway star was spotted in Times Square wearing a "Kiss the Cook" apron while grilling hot dogs for charity—and talking about his ideal girl. "I'd like to be with someone who is secure with themselves. She has to understand that I have a lot going on and I'm busy," Mario tells People.com.

MSN reports that several insiders say offers were made to Jessica, that she was kept in the loop and that some talks are still in progress. "She is part of the talks, I don’t know why she'd go out and say that," one source said.

The crooner told press at the TV Land Awards this past weekend (where he won the Icon award), ''Forget about surviving 40 years in the music business. Just surviving 27 years of Nicole Richie has been a struggle-and-a-half, I want to tell you. I stand here as a survivor, I want you to know, for all the parents out there.''
