Father's Day came early for Jessica Alba's proud papi, Mark Alba. The California-based realtor was in Florida when he heard the news that Jessica was delivering, and tells us his daughter "flew him right out" to Los Angeles so he could be the first to get a glimpse of his granddaughter, Honor Marie Warren.

After denying rumors that she's pondering offers for the first photos of her newborn Honor Marie, sources reveal that the exact opposite is true. MSN reports that several insiders say offers were made to Jessica, that she was kept in the loop and that some talks are still in progress. "She is part of the talks, I don’t know why she'd go out and say that," one source said.

Legendary singer Lionel Richie thinks he deserves praise not for lasting four decades in the music industry, but rather for surviving half that time as father to reformed wild child Nicole Richie. The crooner told press at the TV Land Awards this past weekend (where he won the Icon award), ''Forget about surviving 40 years in the music business. Just surviving 27 years of Nicole Richie has been a struggle-and-a-half, I want to tell you. I stand here as a survivor, I want you to know, for all the parents out there.''
