Drake has some explaining to do!

The hip-hop artist, who has collaborated with stars like Rihanna, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne, allegedly made a couple of stabs at Kobe Bryant's soon-to-be ex-wife, Vanessa Bryant. In his new track “Stay Schemin,” Drake rhymes several verses about the public split including, "Kobe 'bout to lose a hundred fifty M’s." Other verses imply that the Mexican American basketball wife doesn't deserve to cash in on the $75 million divorce settlement.

Many skeptics think that the 25-year-old rapper simply created the controversial comments to give more attention to his upcoming album, "The Dreamer, The Believer." Regardless of the reason, Drake is currently backtracking on his statements. According to MTV, Drake explained, "That line came from a conversation about being this young and making this much money and the fear of losing it all.”
