Paramedics had to be called to tend to part-Puerto Rican Glee star Naya Rivera at the Golden Globes on Sunday. According to TV Line, the actress, who plays Santana Lopez in the hit musical series, started to feel sick toward the end of the ceremony. The paramedics came to Rivera’s aid in the ladies room backstage.
A 20th Century Fox representative said, “She is completely fine. It was very warm and crowded and she felt lightheaded so we erred on the side of caution.”
Her Twitter followers erred on the side of panic. We’re glad she’s all right. Hopefully, there won’t be a repeat situation at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 29th.
