Not all tattoos are permanent or at least that seems to be the case with Marc Anthony, who may have already covered up a tattoo he got of soon-to-be-ex-honey Jennifer Lopez’s name. The image, published by MediaTakeout.com, shows the 42-year-old salsa artist waving his right hand, which had J.Lo’s first name permanently inked. Though the photo is not up close and the exact details of the tattoo are unclear, one thing is for sure: it no longer just says "Jennifer" on Anthony’s wrist. Anthony also had her initials inked on his left ring finger.
The former Puerto Rican power couple rocked headlines a little over two weeks ago when they issued a joint statement announcing their divorce after seven years of marriage. Since the announcement, rumors have persisted around the reasons behind their decision to break up. Lopez, who recently signed on for a second season as a judge on American Idol, spoke to Vanity Fair about the end of her marriage to Anthony and said she would always respect him as a singer and performer. “He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children,” she said. Lopez and Anthony are parents to 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.
