After spending nearly three months in rehab for physical and emotional issues, Demi Lovato checked out of the Chicago treatment center Timberline Knolls on Friday and returned home to her family in Los Angeles. But after a long absence from her fans, her music and her hit Disney show, Sonny With a Chance, (which was revamped during her rehab stint), is Demi planning to get right back to work?
Not exactly. Multiple sources tell TMZ that Disney will welcome back their highest grossing artist to Sonny With a Chance as soon as she's ready. But the 18-year-old star will continue to see a therapist on an outpatient basis and is focusing on getting better—not returning to work.
Looks like Timbaland, who wrote a song just for Demi, is going to have to wait just a little while longer to collaborate with the talented young star. However, Demi's reps say that her planned 2011 solo tour is still on track.
