Disney star Demi Lovato left her tour with the Jonas Brothers eight days ago and checked into an Illinois treatment center to seek help for "emotional and physical issues."
On Sunday, Demi's family, including her younger sister, Madison de la Garza, was photographed leaving Timberline Knolls, a treatment center located just outside of Chicago in Lemont, Illinois. Although they live in Los Angeles, her family stayed at a hotel close to Timberline Knolls to support Demi during her time of need.
According to the website for Timberline Knolls, the all-girls treatment center specializes in eating disorders, alcohol abuse, mood disorders and anxiety disorders.
“Our residents—adult women and adolescent girls—come to us when they need immediate, life-saving and life-changing help. Treatment is holistic, individualized, and nurturing.”
Lovato checked into the rehab facility in late October after she was involved in an altercation with a back-up dancer named Alex Welch. We wish her a speedy recovery.
