According to US Weekly, Lovato and Jonas wanted to do something special as they made a stop in Orlando for their Honda Civic Tour. Both are known for being LGBT activists and wanted to pay tribute to the lives lost in the June 12th shooting.

They sang an emotional rendition of Day's hit song, "Rise Up," where they honored those who passed as well as the death of former The Voice singer, Christina Grimmie.

They also provided free tickets for the nightclub employees and a private suite at the show, where they were able to meet the singers.

"Nick Jonas & Demi Lovato, thank you for making the Pulse family smile #onepulse #orlandostrong #pulseorlando," read a Facebook post from Pulse Orlando.
