We are sad to report that the lead singer of the Monkees, Davy Jones has passed away, reports People.com. The 66-year-old English star suffered a heart attack on Wednesday and died in his Florida home. Jones was married to Latina flamenco dancer and Telemundo host, Jessica Pacheco.
His manager and brother-in-law Joseph Pacheco released a statement, "All of his family, friends and fans mourn Davy's loss. We were fortunate to have such an incredible human being in our lives. Sadly, his time on Earth was cut far too short and he will be missed tremendously by all who knew him."
Jones' sold millions of copies for hit singles like "Last Train to Clarksville" and "I'm a Believer." Rest in peace.
