Adrienne Bailon: On first dates:
Beautiful Adrienne Bailon has had some very public relationships, most notably with Rob Kardashian. Still, the beautiful Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian likes to keep it low-key on first dates: “The best thing a man can do on a first date is be a friend,” she told Rolling Out, “I think that’s the biggest mistake men on the first date. Just get to know me. Be my friend. Just kick it with me as if I was hanging with a homeboy. It shouldn’t be this awkward situation. It should be that we’re there, having a great time."
Eva Longoria: On what she looks for in men:
Attention, gentleman! Want to woo gorgeous Eva Longoria? Here are some tips! “I love humor and intelligence,” the actress dished to Parade, “Patience is also a big one in a relationship, and knowing that people are always growing. I’ve learned you either grow together or you grow apart.”
Sofia Vergara: On confidence:
Modern Family star Sofia Vergara divulged the secret to her sex-appeal: “Confident people have a way of carrying themselves that makes others more attracted to them,” she told SHAPE, “Latin women are very comfortable with their bodies and their sexuality. We aren’t afraid to show that off a little bit more.”
Selena Gomez: On communication:
Selena Gomez has a very simple requirement for her potential suitors: good listening skills! “Make sure that your date listens, that’s a good one! And make sure that you listen and just be yourself. Talk. Get to know each other!” she said, “Don’t do movies in the beginning stages so you can talk and get to know the person.”
Demi Lovato: On making the first move:
“If we wants to talk to you, HE will call/text you,” the X Factor judge tweeted, “If he doesn’t, then he doesn’t want to. Never call the guy first. #datingproblems”
Roselyn Sanchez: On what men should always do:
How did Eric Winters steal Roselyn Sanchez’s heart? Easy! He simply introduced himself. “African American and Latino men are very comfortable going straight over to you!” she told Men’s Fitness, “That’s why I was surprised when I met my husband -- he’s white, from L.A., and the first time I saw him, he came over to me and said, ‘I just want to introduce myself.’”

The colombiana dished on the key to her successful relationship with footballer Gerard Pique. “He has his own world,” she told Elle, “That’s actually one of the healthiest things about the relationship.”
Jasmine V: On date-night preparations:
In a blog for Latina, Jasmine V dished on her date-night routine: “The first thing I need is one of my girlfriends with me. I go through all my outfit choices, makeup and hair. Next, I try not to overdo it. It’s always good to be casual and look like yourself AND to look like you’re not trying too hard. I always feel like guys appreciate it when you’re just yourself and they always feel comfortable when you can let yourself just be yourself.”
Christina Aguilera: On divorce:
Shortly following her divorce from Jordan Bratman, Aguilera told Redbook: “It’s impossible to redefine yourself and your life overnight. Thankfully, I have my mom and a small group of close friends who are there for me 24/7 and whom I can trust and depend on. On days when it feels impossible to even get our of bed, much less function as a mother, their support and encouragement have kept me moving forward.”
Adriana Lima: On a perfect date:
“A great date....is going out to a restaurant, somewhere romantic, having a nice dessert, talk about us, our relationship -- and after that involves lingerie, chocolate, and perfume,” she said about the perfect date with her husband, basketball star Marko Jaric.
Bella Thorne: On romantic gestures:
Bella Thorne thinks it’s important for significant others to keep the spark alive through small romantic gestures. “[My boyfriend’s] baseball number is 44, so I wrote a list called ’44 Reasons Why I Love You.’ I made it using see-through paper with roses on it. It looked like a scroll with ribbon tied around it,” she told Seventeen.
Mariah Carey: On dating older men:
The diva, who was married to Tommy Mottola, told Elle, “I’ve been with someone older and that could be a disaster. [But] maybe you have to throw that side away from you. Don’t think about it. Think about who’s right for you.”
Victoria Justice: On dating with a busy schedule:
The young starlet doesn’t let her busy schedule get in the way of romance! She told MTV, “My schedule is so crazy, that when I do have some free time, I just want to take it easy and have a really nice normal night out...A perfect date for me would be sushi and a movie with someone who’s more low key and not a party animal.”
