Danny Trejo Receives Award for Scaring People

Danny Trejo has been honored for one of his most unique talents.

According to NBC Latino, the 69-year-old Mexicano is the recipient of the Eyegore Award by Universal Studios, which he was awarded on Friday during Universal's annual ceremony which honors “exemplary work” in horror and sci-fi entertainment.

Trejo was not only given this honor for having the ability to scare people, but also for adding diversity to horror films.

Universal Studios' Hollywood Horror Nights will include a maze this year called, “El Cucuy: The Boogeyman,” which will feature a narration by the Machete Kills actor.
