Happy Monday! We are back with this morning's chisme roundup. Grab a snack and keep reading!
- Q’Viva! The Chosen finally premiered on Univision over the weekend and it was definitely worth the wait! Sure, the episode featured fit capoeira and tango dancers, but it was the twin salsa dancers from Puerto Rico that really set off the tension between judges, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. The sisters were mediocre at best, but Anthony agreed to give them a pass while J.Lo warned him to keep the integrity of the show in mind.
Despite the tense exchange, the separated couple confessed, "We're just meant to be in each other's lives on different levels," said Anthony. "This is a long story, it's not a short story. Marriage was just one chapter ... and kids are another. We've got each other for life." (People)
- Now is your lucky chance to cyber stalk Brad Pitt! The Oscar-nominated actor has officially opened a Google + account. His first post was about his charity campaign with "Make It Right," which raises money for victims of Katrina in New Orleans. Sorry Facebook and Twitter, but Pitt is a one-social-media-site kind of guy. (Hollywood Reporter)
- Madonna is set to premiere her new music video featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. “Give Me All Your Luvin’” on Fox’s American Idol. The Material Girl will also perform the single off of her new album "MDNA" during Super Bowl halftime on Feb. 5th. We hope it doesn’t include any Janet Jackson-inspired wardrobe malfunctions. - Apparently The Artist isn’t done winning yet. The film won “Best Director” at the Directors Guild Awards. Bérénice Bejo’s husband and director Michel Hazanavicius gave a modest reaction, "Best director, I don't really know what that is. Every one of us is so different." (TV Guide)
