The second season of The Crown, which is about the royal family, takes places in the early 1960s. But it is never too early to start planning for future seasons, right? Smith, who plays Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, definitely had one strong contender in mind.  “Who’s that singer? Who’s the singer who goes out with Justin Bieber? Selena Gomez!” said Smith said to Foy. Foy teased him by saying: “You love Selena Gomez.”

“She’s playing Meghan Markle!” he insisted. Foy playfully disagreed. They love that Meghan Markle and fiancé Print Harry are a trending topic, but Smith was a bit dismayed that Markle's acting career was done. He said: “Her life is over.”

Ouch, so much for Smith being happy that Markle has secured the palace. Just one day after the world received the royal news, it was announced that the raven-haired beauty would no longer play Rachel Zane on USA’s Suits. The actress retired from the business to focus on the hectic work of being a royal.
