Amazing news for fans of Ziva David!

Cote de Pablo will star in CBS's new miniseries The Dovekeepersset to air in 2015.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the beloved NCIS star will topline the four-hour event series. The Dovekeepers is based upon Alice Hoffman's historical novel of the same name. Set in ancient Israel, the book is based upon the siege of Masada in 70 C.E. After being forced out of Jerusalem by the Romans, 900 Jews were held at a fortress in Masada, a mountain in the Judean deserts. There, the Jews held out for months against Roman armies.

The book and the miniseries focus upon the lives of four women involved in the siege. Each woman has a unique backstory -- but each share a common goal: survival. De Pablo will play Shirah, a sensual and mysterious single mother with an uncanny power. Labeled the "Witch of Moab", she secretly practices forbidden magic. The role marks the Chilean actress's return to CBS after her controversial exit from NCIS last season.

Congrats on the exciting new opportunity, Cote! Will you be watching?
