An infamous church plans on protesting Cory Monteith’s funeral. According to Fox News Latino, the Kansas-based Westboro Baptish Church (WBC) plans on picketing the farewell ceremony for the 31-year-old Glee star, who died on July 14 as a result of "a mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol.”

The beloved Canadian actor played Finn Hudson on the hit FOX show, and his untimely death has had Hollywood mourning all week. WBC seems to feel the complete opposite about Monteith’s death, posting recently on its official Twitter account: “PRAISE GOD ALMIGHTY for killing Cory Monteith…”

According to FNL, the reason why the church plans on picketing Monteith’s funeral service is because the actor was part of a show that “taught millions to sin" by featuring homosexual relationships, despite the fact that his character was heterosexual.

“Westboro praises God for his righteous judgments," the church tweeted. "Hell won't be gleeful for Cory Monteith.”

The extremist group has dropped quite a few hateful tweets about the late actor all week – including one of his girlfriend Lea Michelle.
