A church group gathered outside of an Univision affiliate office this weekend to protest an"obscene" interview the channel recently aired with Ricky Martin. In the interview, conducted by journalist Maria Elena Salinas, Martin talks about his initial sexual experiences with men and the first time he fell in love.

The special, entitled Ricky Martin ... Without Secrets, caught the attention of the conservative Miami-based Oscar Aguero Ministry who released a statement explaining that they were protesting Univision's support of "sexual promiscuity and homosexuality as a gift of life." The church went on to say, "These are not our Latin roots, and the Latino people of South Florida have decided to stand up and defend our family values."

The group concluded by claiming that Martin promotes hedonism by telling his fans to live "la vida loca."
