How moving! Christina Aguilera has added her voice to a new song by the pop-duo A Great Big World, and the results are awesome. The collaboration came after Aguilera tapped the duo of Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino to perform live on The Voice on Tuesday, November 5. After she heard the song, titled 'Say Something,' she asked to be a part of the track.
"I'm only taking on projects that feel good to me and represent a purpose of the 'here and now' in my life, and that's what this song 'Say Something' actually does for me," she said in a release.
The song, which lives as both the original and the re-envisioning featuring Aguilera, lives on the duo's debut full-length album Is Anybody Out There?
"It is a healing and hopeful song and we simply cannot believe how many people this song has resonated with. It's one of the greatest honors in the world to know that your art is making a positive impact," they said. "Even more so, it's an incredible privilege to have the support of Christina. Collaborating with her is something we'll both remember forever."
