'To Selena, With Love' Book by Chris Perez Released as Commemorative Edition

Selena Quintanilla-Pérez's widowed husband, Chris Perez, has released a commemorative edition of his book To Selena, With Love. The re-release features a new chapter, as well as more intimate pictures and rare glimpses of Selena’s private moments with her husband and family.

The original version of the book was published in March 2012, nearly 17 years after Selena's shocking murder at the age of 23. Pérez said it took him so long to write the book because he was still dealing with the grieving process.

“It was something I had to do in order to move forward,” he told VOXXI. “I was dealing with boxes and boxes of baggage that I had suppressed. So I went through, dusted them off, and then wrote the book.”
