Rosario Dawson shows off her bikini body on the August cover of Shape Magazine and opens up about the loss of her grandmother. The 32-year-old actress, who stars alongside Kevin James in the new film Zookeeper, spoke about her grief. “Part of me wants to crawl into a hole and cry because nothing else matters, but that’s just not an option,” she told the magazine just two weeks after her grandmother died. “With Mima’s passing, I have this sense of urgency and all this energy to get things done.”
Dawson, who ended a long-term relationship with French DJ Mathieu Schreyer two months ago, spoke about how exercise helped her cope with the recent changes in her life. “Exercise is good to reflect, meditate and so calming to help put your body in motion,” she said.
Dawson also said she plans to stay furiously active for the rest of her life. “I don’t want my tombstone to read: ‘She played it safe.’”
