Naya Rivera vs. Kim Kardashian: After Kim's nude Paper magazine cover hit the Internet, many were less than pleased, including the Glee actress who couldn't resist sharing her opinion. "I normally don't. But.... you're someone's mother," Naya commented on Kim's Instagram pic. While the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star didn't personally respond to Naya's comment, her friend Jonathan Cheban, ran to her defense. "Who the f*ck is Naya to throw in her meaningless comments??" he wrote on his blog The Dishh.
Demi Lovato vs. Meghan Trainor: During an interview on ET, Trainor said, "I wasn't strong enough to have an eating disorder. I tried to go anorexic for a good three hours. I ate ice and celery, but that's not even anorexic. And I quit. I was like, 'Ma, can you make me a sandwich? Like, immediately.'" Lovato, having struggled with an eating disorder herself, did not take this comment lightly. "Having an eating disorder doesn't show "strength,” she tweeted in response. “Strength is when are able to overcome your demons after being sick and tired for so long."
Valerie Bertinelli vs. Christina Aguilera: Though there never seemed to be an actual feud between Bertinelli and Aguilera, the Hot in Cleveland star says that the blonde singer did diss her upon first meeting. "I was a fan at that time, a long time ago, and I went up to her because she was at a Van Halen concert," Bertinelli said on Watch What Happens Live. "I said, ‘Oh my God, I think you're a beautiful singer, blah blah blah,' and she just went like, ‘Yah, whatever.' She gave me the cold shoulder and I thought, ‘Bitch, I'm a fan! You can't be nice to me?' You know?"
Wendy Williams vs. Evelyn Lozada: During a recent airing of the Wendy Williams Show, host Wendy took a jab at Evelyn. “I also want to congratulate Evelyn Lozada," Wendy said. "Evelyn gave birth to a cash register –I mean, a baby boy, with her her fiance, the $142 million dollar, Carl Crawford. I didn’t mean to make that cash register joke, but you see why it’s easy to be said.” To say Evelyn was not happy is an understatement.
The Basketball Wives star took to Facebook to dish her response: "You know @WendyWilliams, I never bother anyone. I even bought you a beautiful bouquet of flowers congratulating your broadway debut...Since you want me to open Dulce in LA, maybe your man can come to that store and purchase shoes for another woman like he did at my Miami store. Bloop! Oh...BTW...he purchased the Casadei suede over the knee boots triple platform just in case you wanted to know. #DontComeForMe #INeverBotherU #NowPutThatOnHotTopics"
Demi Lovato vs. Lady Gaga: For her performance at the SXSW music festival, Gaga had a vomit painter puke on her as she sang "Swine." The concert footage showed Gaga kneeling down kneeled mid-song next to the vomit painter, who then stuck her finger down her throat and threw up a slimy green substance all over the singer. Gaga performed the rest of the concert covered in puke. Lovato, like many, caught a glimpse of the video and was immediately angered. The 21-year-old singer took to Twitter to vent: "Sad... As if we didn't have enough people glamorizing eat disorders already. Bottom line, it's not 'cool' or 'artsy' at all."
Kat Von D vs. Kim Kardashian: Earlier this month, the celebrity tattoo artist took a jab at Kim and the rest of the Kardashian family via Twitter. "Sure, people being 'famous' for no reason other than surface qualities is silly," Kat tweeted. "But subscribers are sillier." She then followed up that tweet with: "I really do hate that I know who the Kardashians are."
We're not exactly sure what prompted her tweets, but what's even more surprising is that neither Kim nor any other Kardashian has responded.
Lorde vs. Selena Gomez: While Selena appears to be a fan of 16-year-old hipster-pop singer, Lorde, it doesn't quite seem as though the feeling is mutual. During an interview, the young singer said: "I love pop music on a sonic level. But I'm a feminist and the theme of her song ["Come & Get It"] is, 'When you're ready come and get it from me.' I'm sick of women being portrayed this way."
Selena hasn't responded to her latest critic, but Lorde has certainly been feeling the wrath of the 21-year-old's fan base. According to Idolator, Selenators have been tweeting comments such as, "I hate Lorde's music and attitude towards every other artist, I bet she's jealous of their success." They've even gone as far as uploading photos comparing the New Zealand singer to the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Chrissy Teigen vs. Jennifer Lopez: John Legend’s wife, model Chrissy Teigan, was not a happy camper while in attendance at Gucci’s Chime for Change Awareness Concert. The model was busy behind stage watching John perform when all of a sudden, J.Lo’s entourage made her leave the area in preparation for J.Lo’s arrival which prompted Chrissy to go on a Twitter rant.
“I love Jennifer Lopez,” she tweeted. “But as I am sitting and watching John perform, I don’t need her people to lay down the J.Lo laws.” Chrissy then finished off by tweeting, “I have never once been asked to leave an area for an artist’s supreme arrival. Maybe I should carry around a horn and streamers. I’m bummed because I really loved her dammit. Anyhow, moving on.”
Kelly Osbourne vs. Christina Aguilera: They say if you don’t have something nice to say, you shouldn’t say anything at all, but apparently these two never got the memo. According to Kelly, Christina would call her fat for so many years before she lost weight. “She called me fat for years,” she said. “I was never that fat.”
So in 2011, after Christina had put on a few pounds, Kelly got her payback during an August episode of Fashion Police. “Maybe she is just becoming the fat bitch she was born to be,” Kelly said. Two months later, Christina was featured on the show again. Kelly once again shared her thoughts saying, “Lady Marmalade got into the peanut butter again.”
Mariah Carey vs. Nicki Minaj: When a video of Mariah and Nicki fighting over country music during American Idol auditions went viral, their feud became the talk of the show before the season even premiered. The singers had collaborated on “Up Out My Face” in 2010, so it came as a shock to hear the two were having constant screaming matches on set.
The latest on this feud? Nicki is more shocked than anyone about the feud. “I just really thought that we were friends, but that's the other thing I learned, this industry is so fake,” she said. “You walk away thinking people are your friends, and they're not. It's a couple of nice 'hi' and 'byes' and then really, you better not step on nobody's toes,” Nicki continued. “And God forbid you get a little shine. And God forbid you may be witty or quick on your toes, or make someone laugh, then maybe you're making another person feel insecure.”
Mariah Carey vs. Eminem: It all began when someone decided to kiss and tell, or did they? Eminem publicly claimed that he and Mariah were once sexually involved. When asked by Larry King if this was true, Mariah denied the claim. “I hung out with him, I spoke to him on the phone,” Mariah said. “I think I was with him a total of four times. And I don’t consider that dating somebody.” She then went on to feature an Eminem look-alike in her video “Obsessed.” Eminem responded back with several songs aimed at Mariah and even threatened to release nude pictures.
Christina Aguilera vs. Justin Bieber: The day Justin appeared on The Voice to share a teaser clip for his “Boyfriend” video and announce the release date for his album, he approached Christina for a kiss on the cheek. The kiss looked super awkward and the former Voice coach had a cold expression on her face. Everyone quickly assumed that Christina wasn’t exactly a fan of the Biebs. The next day Christina took to her Twitter to let fans know that she has no problem with Justin, she was just experiencing “Bieber fever.”
Miley Cyrus vs. Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez: Three former Disney stars, one huge battle. The fight against Demi and Selena started when the BFFs began posting videos of themselves being goofy on YouTube. Miley quickly assumed that the two of them were in some way mocking her, so she jumped on YouTube with her BFF to make a parody video to mock Demi and Selena. She made fun of the gap in Demi’s teeth and how they wore their makeup.
Selena later commented on the feud saying, “I thought we were okay, but to be honest, I don't even know [Miley and Mandy].” She continued, “And Demi has never met Miley. It's interesting -- that's all I'm going to say about it.”
Demi Lovato vs. Selena Gomez: In 2010, before checking into a rehab facility, Demi revealed in an interview with Girls’ Life magazine that she and Selena were no longer friends over a trust issue. “True friends don’t let their friends or family be mean to you,” Demi told the magazine. “If you can’t trust somebody, you can’t be friends with them.”
On May 15, Demi commented on the feud during an interview with MTV. “We've been through a lot together," she said. “We've had periods of times where we grew apart and we just didn't really talk. Now we are in a place where I think we realized that life is so short and that when you have people in your life that love you so much then, you should just always be around them. She's going to be a big sister, and I want to be around for that. Everything about her... she has a great soul, she's talented, she's beautiful, and she will always be really, really close to my heart."
Gov. Chris Christie vs. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi: The New Jersey Governor made it crystal clear how much love he doesn’t have for the cast of Jersey Shore. Governor Christie would always refer to the cast members as “losers” and even went as far as vetoing a tax credit for the show in 2011. Snooki took this all very personal and began tweeting about the Governor calling him a “buffon” and “judgmental.”
