In one of the more shocking breakups of 2014, Gael Garcia Bernal revealed that not only had he separated from Dolores Fonzi, he also never married her. The couple, widely believed to be married, separated after six years. They have two children together, Lázaro and Libertad.
After three years of dating, Ricky Martin and Carlos González called it quits in January of 2014. On January 2, a representative for the singer shared the unhappy news: "Ricky and Carlos have mutually agreed to end their relationship, but continue to be united by friendship and their shared experiences."
J.R. Martinez and Diana Gonzalez-Jones called it quits in January 2014, just 18 months after the birth of their daughter, Lauryn Anabelle. "Diana and I have ended our relationship," he said at the time. "However, we are committed to working together to raise our daughter in a healthy and happy environment."
Marc Anthony and his girlfriend of one year, Chloe Green, went their separate ways in February of this year. Just one month later, the singer and his other ex-girlfriend Shannon de Lima rekindled their romance.

After 18 years of marriage, Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith filed for divorce in June 2014, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation. In the weeks following the heartbreaking separation, Griffith attempted to disguise her infamous "Antonio" tattoo, and Banderas enjoyed the single life in St. Tropez.
Just a day after Elizabeth Vargas entered rehab for the second time, her and husband, Marc Cohn announced their divorce. The ABC News anchor has battled alcohol addiction for decades, and first entered rehab in November 2013.
Bella Thorne and her boyfriend, Tristan Klier, split in August 2014 after three years together. The 16-year-old actress took to Twitter to confirm the news. When a fan asked if she still was still with Klier, she responded, "no i'm not."
