Camilla Belle and Victoria Justice have joined Demi Lovato for an online empowerment campaign, Seventeen.com reports. Created by actress Brittany Snow, MTV, and The Jed Foundation last year, the Love Is Louder campaign pushes the message that love and support hold more power than the voices and/or forces that bring people down or make them feel hopeless.
Justice, star of the Nickelodeon hit show Victorious, admits to pressuring on herself at times to be perfect. “I like to do everything to the best of my ability. Nothing I do is ever good enough for me,” she said. “In that way, I think I still have to learn to ease up on myself, some. Not to sound cheesy, but no one is perfect.”
According to the website, feeling pressure is familiar to part-Brazilian actress Camilla Belle because she has been acting since she was very young. She said that the campaign is important to her because it brings awareness to self-worth. “I hope by showing my support, I can encourage today’s youth to be proud of who they are, no matter what others think, say, or do,” Belle said.
