Bruno Mars and Michelle Obama Are Now Officially #Squadgoals
Now this is a team we can get behind. While on his 24K Magic Tour, Bruno Mars stopped in Washington D.C. and got to hang with former First Lady Michelle Obama who attended the concert.
The “Versace on the Floor” singer posted a snap of the pair on Instagram with Mrs. Obama holding a dope, customized “Obama 24K” jersey—a perfect gift for FLOTUS who’s shown love for Bruno’s music in the past—captioning it:
“Last Night in D.C. Mrs. Obama came to the concert and blessed us with her presence #24kmagicworldtour#Hooligans.”
Mars also posted a pic of Mrs. Obama with his band, The Hooligans, captioning it simply “#Squad.”
Michelle has been a big fan of Bruno’s for years. She kicked off the fifth birthday celebration for her “Let’s Move!” campaign dancing to “Uptown Funk,” a routine she first practiced on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. (She also named that song her favorite of 2015.)
Now that everyone's favorite First Lady moved out of the White House, and given how she killed her Carpool Karaoke with James Corden last year, she might want to consider a second career in music. Just sayin.’
