We admit it: we can't resist the urge to break out into dance everytime we hear "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson.
Apparently, neither can the students at A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School in Dallas, Texas. Led by their joyous theatre teacher, Scot Pankey, the students created an epic, choreographed dance to the tune.
"I heard the song before Christmas and fell in love with it," Pankey told The Dallas Morning News. "We are a project-based school — there are only two in the Metroplex — and that means you assign students a project, put them in teams and they have to come up with solutions. They had three weeks to work on it, then present as a group what they learned."
The YouTube video has now been viewed over by over 6 million people — including Bruno Mars himself! The crooner admitted that the student-created video even led him to tears. Watch above!
