The Artist does it again!

The black-and-white silent film The Artist starring Argentinean actress, Bérénice Bejo won "Best Picture" at the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night. A favorite among critics, the film directed by Bejo's husband Michel Hazanavicius received a total of six nominations and also won for "Best Original Score" and "Best Actor" for Jean Dujardin's lead role.

Bejo may not have won for "Best Supporting Actress," but similar to the character she plays in the film (named Peppy Miller) she received well-deserved recognition for her performance. Despite all of the media attention, Bejo remains humble about her stardom. In an interview with Access Hollywood Bejo revealed, "I hope I get to fall on the red carpet so we have something to laugh at and we don't take ourselves too seriously."

Sounds like our kind of girl!
