Hollywood's baby fever doesn't seem like it's going to ease up any time soon. The latest celebrity to catch it? Television star Constance Marie. The George Lopez Show regular is expecting her first child, a baby girl, with her fiancé, yoga teacher Kent Katich, in February.
"It's all so exciting!" the 43-year-old tells Us Weekly. "A little girl!"
Constance wasn't sure she wanted to have kids, "but after 10, 11 years of playing a mom, starting with [1997 biopic] Selena and then to the George Lopez show, I think I finally decided that I wanted to be one in real life!"
She's enjoying pregnancy now, but it took a while for her to adjust. "The beginning was rough," she shares. "Instead of 'morning sickness,' they should call it 'all day sickness!' But, I am feeling good now."
She adds, "If you're not around children constantly, you don't realize how wonderful they are!"
We're so excited for this mami-to-be, but we can't help but wonder if she will still think children are wonderful after a few months of diaper duty and late-night wake-up calls!
