Elizabeth Gutierrez may be spotted on the sidelines cheering on William Levy on Dancing With The Stars, but she is going to get even more airtime soon. The Mexican actress just signed on as the lead of a new Telemundo telenovela in the works.

She was born in Los Angeles, California.

The telenovela star is the youngest of six and was born in California. At age 5 she moved back to Mexico to attend school there, and later returned to the States when she was 10 years old.

She got her start on a reality television show.

The 32-year-old starred in the reality show, Protagonistas de Novela 2, which was a popular talent search for the next telenovela stars. She may not have won the first title, but she did meet her love William Levy on the show! The couple has two children, Christopher Alexander and Kailey Alexandra.

She is a huge telenovela star.

In 2008, Gutierrez starred in one of the most popular telenovelas on Telemundo, El Rostro de Analía. She played the lead roles of a secret agent and the evil clone version of herself. You know, clones always make it more interesting!

She was in the Spanish-language version of DWTS.

The Mexican actress strapped on her dancing shoes for the hit Univision show, ¡Mira Quien Baila! last year. Levy was a huge supporter and the two even shared a kiss on stage for the audience. Fellow telenovela star, Adamari López, ended up winning the dance trophy in the end.

William Levy put a ring on it.

During her interview with Don Francisco, Guiterrez showed off her engagement ring from the Cuban actor. She said, "I know how hard he had to work to get me this." We bet! Although the couple split last year, word has it that they may have reconciled.
